
13-member delegation heads to Lanka to scout for investment
Indian companies, including Infosys, Taylor Rubber, TVS Group, Bhoruka Power Corporation, Brigade Hospitality Services and ICICI Bank, are heading for Sri Lanka to make strategic investments in the island nation.
“A 13-member delegation of business leaders is visiting Sri Lanka on December 12 for exploring opportunities for investments especially technology partnerships, tourism and infrastructure connectivity,” said CII. India is among the top four investors in Sri Lanka and was the largest FDI source in 2010 with investments worth $110 million. Several companies have planned strategic investments in the country.
